Senior UI Engineer

You will be joining Azira, a global Consumer Insights platform, helping marketing and operational leaders improve their effectiveness with actionable intelligence to drive business results. Its mission is to create a more relevant world where brands are empowered to reach and build relationships with their consumers.

Azira is looking for a Senior UI engineer who is motivated to combine the art of design with programming. Responsibilities will include translation of the UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will produce the application’s visual elements. You will work with the Azira’s Design team and bridge the gap between graphical design and technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks and works.

A Day in the Life

• Design and develop efficient, reusable, and high-quality front-end systems.
• Build and optimize UI applications using Angular, React.js, or Next.js, with strong proficiency in JavaScript and experience working with REST APIs.
• Enhance application performance, ensuring maximum speed and responsiveness.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Scrum Masters, Product Managers, and Engineering teams (Dev, QA, DevOps).
• Take end-to-end ownership of platform components, developing reusable code and libraries for future use.
• Document functional requirements and provide technical guides.
• Support back-end developers with coding and troubleshooting.
• Be self-motivated and collaborative, driving solutions and ensuring efficient execution.
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies, demonstrating adaptability and a growth mindset.
• Experience with building responsive, scalable websites is a plus.

What You Bring to the Role

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.
• 5-7 years of overall experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in Angular and React.
• Strong background in designing and developing customer-facing web applications at scale.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and modern UI frameworks such as React.js/Next.js and Angular.
• Skilled in client-side scripting using JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS frameworks like jQuery and Bootstrap.
• Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and solutions.
• Experience with code versioning tools like GIT.
• Basic knowledge of image editing tools for cropping, resizing, and minor adjustments.
• Familiarity with Highcharts and Mapbox is a plus.
• Ability to develop responsive, high-performance websites.
• Passion for learning new technologies with strong problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
