Vice President of Sales, Marketing Solutions

As the VP of Sales for Marketing Solutions, you will be responsible for driving the sales strategy and optimizing the performance of our marketing-focused solutions. In this role, you will leverage data-driven insights to enhance sales processes, strengthen client engagement, and identify growth opportunities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with company objectives and lead initiatives that elevate sales performance across the organization. 

This role reports directly to the Chief Commercial Officer of Azira and can be located in NYC, Chicago, or L.A and offers a competitive base salary, along with a sales commission plan and full benefits.

A Day in the Life

Sales Strategy Development:
Formulate and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for marketing solutions that align with Azira’s overarching objectives, ensuring a strong market position and consistent revenue growth.

Data Analysis:
Leverage advanced analytics to evaluate sales performance, identify market trends, and derive actionable insights to optimize sales processes and elevate customer satisfaction.

Team Leadership:
Lead and manage directly a team of 6-8 US-based sellers, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement to meet and exceed sales targets.

Client Engagement:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, delivering tailored marketing solutions that consistently exceed client expectations.

Market Insights:
Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and new opportunities within the marketing solutions landscape.

Collaboration:
Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer support teams to ensure an integrated approach to sales and client engagement

What You Bring to the Role

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Data Science, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
  • Experience: 10+ years in sales leadership, focusing on Marketing Solutions, digital marketing, or data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Sales Strategy: Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective sales strategies tailored to Marketing Solutions.
  • B2B, Channel, and Solution Selling: Extensive experience in B2B and channel sales, with expertise in solution selling that drives revenue growth through customized offerings and strategic partnerships.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret marketing data and leverage insights to inform business and sales decisions.
  • Team and Independent Working Style: Proven ability to work independently while also valuing team collaboration and camaraderie.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, thriving as a sales leader both independently and in team-oriented environments.
  • Leadership Abilities: Capable of leading and inspiring teams to achieve exceptional sales outcomes.
  • Industry Advantage: Sales experience within Location-Based Marketing, Programmatic Advertising, and data-powered Media Solutions to independent agencies, channel partners, and holding companies. Analytics is highly advantageous.
